We offer a visit to the town of Cappadocia from Alanya. During the tour you will have an opportunity to see wonderful natural constructions. For example, rocky formations of a bizarre structure. You attend ancient churches, an open-air museum, Pigeon Valley and Love Valley. Of course, everyone can fly a hot air balloon above Cappadocia. You will see one of the most beautiful towns in Turkey from the height of a bird’s flight.

Immersion in history (1 day)

Tourists are pıcked up from hotels and transported in a modern bus. Before the historical part of the tour there will be a stop for breakfast. You will enjoy the breathtaking views of the Taurus Mountains. On your way to Cappadocia you will visit the underground city. There are many such historical objects in modern Turkey.

After having lunch (buffet meal), you will go to the Derwent Valley. There are no bright, man-made sights. But visiting the valley is a compulsory part of the Cappadocia tour, because it is one of the most beautiful places in the territory of the country. It is here that the rocky formations of the bizarre form were created naturally due to the influence of volcanoes, wind, sun and rain. Another name for the place is Fantasy Valley. Indeed, you get the impression that there are huge characters coming out of comic books.

You will also visit the old town of Avanos which is famous for its pottery. The next stop is the rock village of Chavushin. It was once populated by Christians fleeing persecution. Because of persecution, they built stone towns in the rocks so that no one would find them. The church of John the Baptist is of particular interest.

The next focus of the tour is a visit to the Love valley. You get an opportunity to take pictures of unique and somewhat vulgar landscapes. The excursion to the Goreme Museum concludes this part of the tour dedicated to history. There are rock churches as well as the ancient nunnery.

After dinner you will enjoy the panorama of the sunset and visit one of the restaurants. We recommend buying tickets for the show-program «Night in Cappadocia». It is not included in the cost of the excursion. But it is a wonderful opportunity to have a great rest and see all the charms of Antalya folklore.

Attractions of the 2^nd day

The program is impressive:
• A hot air balloon flight. It is paid separately. Be sure to wake up early in the morning to take the opportunity to fly over the city, as long as the weather’s not too bad.
• After breakfast there is a panoramic stop at Uchgüzel (three beauties). The next windy rock formations remind palms. Make sure you take a picture of them.
– Visit to the Anatolia Stone Centre.
– Arriving at the ancient fortress of Uchisar, which resembles a giant anthill stretching to the sky.
– Visiting the famous silk leather studio.
– Arriving at Caravan Saray Oresin Khan concludes the two-day tour. This is the largest one of such objects. It was built in the 16th century and symbolizes the greatness of the Ottoman Empire.
Before you go back to the hotel you will stop in the city of Konya and taste the delicious dishes there. The local people are characterized by hospitality and kindness. Colourful national drinks are available for an extra fee.
