Maringliding (1000 m) Tour in Kemer

The maringliding tour is an interesting new experience, a great delight and a feeling of extraordinary ease during the flight on the paraglider.

What is maringliding?

Maringliding is a form of paragliding with the most comfortable take-off. Participants do not need to jump off the mountain as in paragliding (you will agree, not everyone will dare to do this). The parachute rises into the sky from the sea coast thanks to a boat with the help of a winch and a cable. The process resembles the launch of a kite.

The flight takes place in tandem with an experienced pilot who will control the paraglider, and you are given the role of passenger in this mini team. If you move away from the ground, in 8 to 10 minutes you will take off to a kilometre high. After that the pilot will detach the cable and you will float in the free flight.

The cost of the tour includes:

At this high altitude it will be cold. You will need warm and dense clothes (a jacket and jeans). Don’t forget your swimwear and sunscreen.

Safety

The tour is open to anyone, and no prior training is required. However, there are restrictions. Children under 5 are not allowed to fly. The maximum weight for men should be 110 kg and for women 90 kg. The organizers ensure that your stay in the air is safe. It also depends on weather conditions. During rain and high winds, all flights are cancelled.

How’s the tour going?

After picking up all the tourists from the hotels, the bus will take you to the beach of Kyndil Cheshme (1 km from Kemer). This is the launch point, and you will land here. You will be given a detailed briefing on how to take off, land and behave during the flight, and will be provided with the necessary equipment.

When you’re up in the sky, you’ll feel the adrenaline in your blood reach a critical point, and then it’s going to spike. What beauty is down there! The surface of the Mediterranean Sea coloured blue and green. You’ll see the majestic Kemer mountains from the height of a bird’s flight. It’s a new and unique experience. When you’re on a plane surrounded by a metal hull, you can’t see what’s down there. The little window does not give such a view. On the paraplane everything is different. You are like a bird, and there is only the boundless sea around, the clouds and the blue sky at 1,000 meter height above sea level. For those who wish to experience more thrill, the instructor can perform several aerobatic tricks.
