Fishing and Picnic in Ulupinar

A picnic and fishing which take place at the Ulupinar Gorge will bring a pleasant variety to your beach holiday.

Ulupinar from Turkish is translated as a «majestic source». This is the name of a gorge, a village and a mountain stream. There is a trout farm in the locality where we will travel. There is a pleasant coolness even on the hottest day. In the distance there are snowy mountain peaks, the road to the fishing site goes along a picturesque path on which is covered with shadows of high trees’ crowns.

Trout is a demanding fish that lives only in crystal clear water. You can see that there are lots of fish, looking at the clear flow of water in the pools on the farm.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve ever fished in a mountain stream. The organisers will give you the tackle, the bait, and recommendations on how to catch the trout properly. No one will be left without a catch. Being excited about fishing, do not forget to take pictures with the caught trout.

The catch will be cooked at a local grill restaurant. The taste of personally caught trout, with crispy crust, and the smell of smoke will be remembered long after coming back from Turkey.

Small travellers can catch fish with adults or ride ponies for an extra fee.

You can take a break from fishing in the shade of trees, strolling through the farmland amidst pools, streams and waterfalls. There is a bar with cool drinks on the territory.

After fishing, the tour group comes to the restaurant. The waiters will ask about your preferences. If you are bored waiting for the main course, starters will be offered. The main thing of the restaurant is a juicy lamb baked on a spit. It will complement the dishes cooked with trout.

The tables of the local restaurant are located on separate areas on piles. Instead of the chairs, soft pillows are used to make it convenient for visitors to rest while listening to the sound of mountain streams and enjoying Turkish cuisine.
