Dalyan Tour from Fethiye

The sightseeing part of the trip

After a substantial lunch you set off to see the sights. The main one is the Lycian rock tombs, carved straight into the cliff above the water. They look a little like giant swallows’ nests. The tombs hold the eye with their strangeness and the difficulty of their construction.

If you have never caught crabs, the next part of the trip will stay with you for life. Under the careful guidance of local people you will catch these quick creatures. Then you visit the loggerhead turtles. What makes these creatures remarkable is that they have not evolved in more than 200 million years.

After meeting the local wildlife it is time for a swim. You head for İztuzu beach. Swim in the warm water and enjoy the natural beauty — the place is also known as Turtle Beach. After two hours in the water you return to Dalyan and take the transfer back to your hotel in Fethiye, passing the historic site of Kaunos.
