A 3-day tour to Cappadocia is in great demand among tourists. In this city, situated in the “heart” of modern Turkey, there are high rocky formations in the form of cones. The unique Bronze Age dwellings also attract tourists. They were dug up by cavemen. Underground cities, canyons, museums, pottery workshops and, of course, magnificent nature await the tourists who have arrived in Cappadocia from Belek.

The 1st day

Tourists are picked up from hotels and transported in a modern bus to the small Turkish town of Seydisehir. There is a rich, tasty and full breakfast waiting for you. The next stop is Konya. You will see the House of Dervishes (Muslim equivalent of monks), as well as the «Museum of Mevlana», dedicated to the eminent Sufi poet Jalaladdin Rumi. For tourists it is an interesting attraction, whereas for Muslims all over the world it is a place of pilgrimage.

During lunch you can taste the dishes of the national cuisine of Konya. After that it is planned to visit the underground city and a secret ceremony of dervishes – «Sema». It is a dance performed by members of the Sufi Mevlevi Order dating back to the 13th century. The performance is stunning, so make sure you have a camera or a video camera. The dinner in a comfortable hotel finalizes this busy day.

The 2nd day

The tour starts early in the morning, so you should get a good sleep at night. Here’s the plan for this day:

– Hot-air balloon flight observing attractions and beautiful places created by nature.

– Full breakfast. Make sure you have a full meal after the balloon flight and the coming trip.

– A visit to Derwent and Monks’ Valleys. Unique «lunar» landscapes await you. It would seem that you have landed on Earth’s satellite. These sights look so realistic.

– A visit to the village of Chavushin and the church of John the Baptist. You will especially enjoy a stone city built in ancient centuries.

– A trip to the pottery town of Avanos. You will personally visit the workshop and see how specialists create handicrafts.

– Lunch in Avanos.

– A stop in a romantic place called «Valley of Love», where one can admire the beauty of nature.

– A visit to the open air museum called «Göreme». It is the most popular monastery complex in Cappadocia. The Göreme Museum symbolizes the rescue of Christians who fled Jerusalem from persecution.

– An overview excursion to the fortress of Uchhisar, which has a rich history.

– A visit to the silk leather studio.

– A delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant before first-class entertainment.

– The show «The Night in Cappadocia» performs the famous folklore of Antalya.

The 3rd day

You meet the new day with a stunning view of balloons (not included in the cost of excursion, therefore it is paid separately). After breakfast, the bus will make two stops in the places of Uchguzel and Ortahisar. There are stunning panoramic views from here, plus a visit to the centre of the stones. Then there’s an amazing place called the Valley of the Pigeons, which is about four kilometers long. The final part of the tour ıs the overview excursion to Oresin Khan Caravan-Saray. Before the return trip you make a stop in the town of Konya to have a full lunch.
